Cornell Tech does not offer deferred enrollment. If you are unable to join this upcoming cohort, you will need to withdraw your enrollment.

You can re-apply for the following enrollment cycle; Re-applicants are eligible for document transfer such as transcripts and letters of recommendation as well as an application fee waiver.  If you have submitted a deposit, you may be eligible for a deposit transfer.  All re-applicants will be asked to submit a new personal statement and an updated resume. Please note that admission is not guaranteed for re-applicants.

If you will no longer be joining the incoming class, please send an email to Admissions@tech.cornell.edu to withdraw your enrollment. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable as stated in your decision letter.

You will need to submit an application with Cornell Tech to receive an I-20. If you are a recent graduate from undergraduate, you will need to apply for a transfer with your current DSO. Once the I-20 is ready, you will receive an email notice with next steps. I-20 forms can take 1-4 business days to process.

If you have already reported your scores to Cornell Tech, no further action is needed on your end. Confirming scores will take time and will be done by August.  If we run into any issues verifying your scores, we will reach out to you.
